Quality of number 10, transition points where something suddenly transforms into something else

This are the astrological aspects based on number 10:

  • decile, 36º
  • (tri)decile, 108º

The decile aspect (harmonic 10) belongs to the family of cultural self-organization aspects (harmonic 5), which derive from the division of the circle (360º) by the number 5.

To understand better its meaning, the number 10 can be decomposed into 5 * 2, because it shows thecombination of the cultural self-organization of  number 5 (quintile), with the division and polarity of the number 2 (opposition).

According to Edgar Cayce, the number 10 represents 'the strength of the small number', referring to what is now known as the 'butterfly effect', a name coined by Edward Lorenz, which derives from the theoretical example in which the formation of a hurricane being contingent on whether or not a distant butterfly had flapped its wings several weeks earlier.

The nonlinear quality of the number 10 is typical of chaotic systems that have evolved towards the bifurcation point, in which apparently insignificant events acquire a decisive influence, while others apparently of great magnitude pass entirely unnoticed, according to their quality with respect to the nature of the bifurcation point.

The decile is related with the transition points towards new directions, in which something suddenly transforms into something else, such as when the water changes state and becomes ice or steam.

Clasification of astronomical centaurs

The main orbital feature of the astronomical centaurs is its high eccentricity. Most of the astronomical centaurs are objects with orbits in transition. Their orbits are unstable because they cross the orbits of the giant planets without being protected by resonances. Their astronomical lives are of the order of 10 to 100 million years; very short, although spectacular.

There are six types of astronomical centaurs due to the situation of its perihelion, aphelion and semimajor axis:
  1. Survival centaurs, they are related to the physical body, biological functions and also with emotions and the survival instinct. Their orbits are connected to the Earth-Moon system, Mars and the main belt.
  2. Classical centaurs I, they are related to self-control and self-regulation capabilities. Their orbits are connected to Jupiter and Saturn.
  3. Classical centaurs II, they are related with the incorporation of the new in a safe way. Their orbits are connected to Saturn and Uranus.
  4. Classical centaurs III, they are related to innovation and esotericism, empathic understanding and mysticism. Their orbits are connected to Uranus and Neptune.
  5. Cyborg centaurs (half machine, half human), they are related to robotics, telematics and informatics. Their orbits are connected to the Kuiper belt.
  6. Aquatic centaurs, they are related to emotional and social intelligence and anthropology. Their orbits are connected to the scattered disc.
  7. Spiritual centaurs, they are related to intuition and spiritual awareness. Their orbits are connected to the inner Oort cloud.

Scattered disc objects with very low aphelion, emotional awareness

Scattered disc objects with very low aphelion are related with emotional awareness that reinforce the connection with everything is happening at the present moment. In this process, emotions go with consciousness and regulate it.

Beyond the Kuiper belt:
  • 50-55 AU: scattered disc object with very low aphelion
  • 58-65 AU: scattered disc object with low aphelion
  • 70-85 AU: scattered disc object with medium aphelion
  • 90-130 AU: scattered disc object with high aphelion
  • 150-300 AU: scattered disc object with very high aphelion
  • 400-2000 AU: inner Oort cloud object
